Organisations looking for volunteers
Register your charity, community group, event or organisation and reach people who want to help, learn new skills and gain experience. Most volunteers here are available for short-term roles.
£12 for one year of unlimited access. No automatic renewal.
Match a Volunteer is built for short-term volunteering — a single day, a weekend, an evening or a few weeks. Longer arrangements are possible, but they are agreed directly between the volunteer and the organisation.
Find the right people for your opportunity
Search and filter profiles
Filter by skills, areas people want to upskill in, languages spoken and availability — including short-term only.
Describe your opportunity
Write a short description of the role and get recommended profiles with a match score for each one.
Make contact privately
Send an enquiry and agree the role, dates and expectations through in-app messages. Volunteer contact details stay hidden.
One account for organisations and businesses
Charities, community groups, events and businesses all register the same way. Businesses looking for volunteers have the same responsibilities.
Your organisation's responsibilities
You decide which volunteers to work with and you are responsible for the role you offer. Calling a role volunteering does not remove any employment or minimum-wage obligations that apply to your organisation or business.
Match a Volunteer simply links volunteers and organisations — we don't carry out DBS or background checks. It is the responsibility of the organisations to do all the necessary checks, vetting and safeguarding for their volunteers and events.
